This is the last MJ Charts Weekly of February 2026 already and yes, “Number Ones” is still doing well along other Michael Jackson albums and songs, 4th weeks since it’s re-release! There also some surprises in the UK!!!
Let’s start with some great news, “Beat It” has been certified 4 x Platinum in New Zealand, selling over 120,000 copies. The album “Thriller” was also recently certified 5 x Platinum and “Invincible” set to 2x Platinum in Denmark. In the UK, few more certification came along too: “The Way You Make Me Feel” got certified 2x Platinum and “Chicago”, Gold, selling over 400,000 units.
Let’s start with the US with something extraordinary: “They Don’t Care About Us” re-entered the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales at #5. “Billie Jean” is also present in this chart at #7. “Number Ones” is at #23 in the Billboard 200 Album, #16 in the Billboard 50 Album Sales, #13 in the Billboard 25 Vinyls, #3 in the Billboard Catalogue Albums and #30 in the Billboard Streaming Albums. “Thriller” is also at #19 in the Billboard 50 Album Sales and #7 in the Billboard 25 Vinyls. “Billie Jean” is at #89 in the Billboard Global 200 Tacks and #83 in the Billboard Global 200 Tacks excluding the US.

Well, for one thing, Elvis is at least back in the top ten in 2026. And yet, you call michael the king of the charts. My theory is really quite simple and easy to understand. Earlier this year, Elvis achieved a number one Christmas album, now it is the Epic soundtrack, which is getting universal acclaim.
We already know that the “michael” biopic is coming. Will the soundtrack be the real michael or does his nephew do the vocals?
Several sources claim that michael did meet with Prince at his home in Paisley Park. Prince often played basketball, his favorite sport. This was years after michael embarrassed Prince in front of James Brown. Prince knew he was kicking michael’s ass very easily, but only reminded the dancer what he was doing to quiet down the toad’s fresh mouth. michael did not like being told he was second rate. Prince handed michael a guitar, but the clown could not play the instrument at all. Prince laughed as he played bass in his shocked face.

You will love Epic. I know that most projects very rarely live up to the hype. But Epic is really amazing. My neighbor said that you can feel Elvis come alive in the film, and the soundtrack is just as impressive. Baz does deserve an Oscar for this. It is way better than the biopic from 2022.
Outside of Elvis, who is the closest dead artist, gone almost fifty long years, still able to hold attention with a new concert film and hit with a top selling soundtrack?
Name one other act doing this today besides KING Elvis. Paper crowns are given away for free at Burger King. Will we see michael’s love for KFC and the Salvation Army in the movie?
michael will have no EPIC concert release in 2058 because he liked to lip sync through his kiddie shows. Unless you like seeing moonwalk. Again, Elvis EPIC, top five on multiple charts, number one soundtrack. This is heading for the history books.
With ten worldwide top ten posthumous albums under his belt, Prince has decided to give himself a break. I do believe the purple one has broken some kind of record regarding posthumous sales. Nevertheless, Hannibal does not want to give Prince the credit he richly deserves.
Hannibal has selective bias. Once he realized that Elvis did not flop, he turns his hatred towards Prince, purposely attacking him in favor of tiny dancer, michael mcJackson. He claims I am too emotional and avoid questions. I’ve answered them the best I know how.
