Again, from what I am reading everywhere, the brilliant Epic film and soundtrack is getting rave reviews, universal acclaim. Baz really tapped into the right groove. Elvis is back and is more popular than he has been in many years. This is historic. Of course, Prince is also due for a comeback very soon. The reissued “Purple Rain” on vinyl has sparked some amazing new sales for the purple one. I am beginning to believe karma is real. I definitely did not expect any of this.
Of course, Hannibal is stunned to silence. Just a few days ago, he was calling Epic a flop. I’ve read that the movie has already broken box office records on documentaries.
Graceland will have record crowds for the 50th anniversary in August 2027. There seems to be an Elvis rebirth going on. The Epic film is absolutely brilliant. It will probably win countless awards.

If you have told the general public a few years ago that Elvis would have a hit concert movie and soundtrack in 2026, they would laugh and say you are old and delusional. And yet, that is exactly what is happening. I remember when the hoopla concerning the comeback in 2003, 2004 with “Elvis 30 #1 Hits” and “Second To None.” This current comeback is even more impressive because Elvis is finally telling his own story. Baz did a better job with this film than he did with the 2022 biopic. At this point, who cares what the “michael” biopic does?
Elvis once said there was room for everyone on the charts. He really had no ego, When reviewing the movie, Rolling Stone magazine called Elvis bratty. A lot of people are jealous.
There a rumors for a complete on tour Hampton Roads on the plan by Baz …

Hannibal obviously does not want to give Prince credit, but is also dismissive of Elvis’s amazing comeback. It will be interesting to see the upcoming worldwide charts. Baz wanted a word of mouth growth. He wanted the film and soundtrack to speak for itself. Meatloaf has a lot to celebrate. No one expects dead artists that died in 1977 to hit number one or top ten. Elvis has proven without a doubt, he is still the king of the charts.
It is an incredible time in Elvis history. He does not have to compete with michael. Almost fifty years in the ground, no other deceased legend has achieved what Elvis just did.
Elvis has never a compete, he is always nr 1 in entertainment of music and Hollywood he was the best payed actor in the 60 s .

I like the scenes where Baz showed clips of Elvis movies flashing by. I am just making an educated guess here, but I think Epic just might earn Elvis his first Oscar. Then he will be like Prince.

I’ve read that Epic is gaining momentum. The film has already earned six million dollars against an eleven million dollar budget with the limited IMAX box office. I cannot confirm sales numbers for the soundtrack, but it is rumored to be selling enough to hit the top 5.
