  1. Talking music, includes bragging that the Epic soundtrack has sold a million copies. Hannibal ignores that Elvis has returned to the top three times since the disc has been available. Hannibal does not like to eat crow.

A concert film that was pieced together from lost footage is different that a regular Hollywood production. Epic beat other concert films released recently by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney.

    “michael” is a huge flop-a-rama.

  2. The embarrassing “michael” biopic is grossing more than the James Brown opus. Empty seats is the norm as it is the worst biopic ever released.

Hannibal loves the fan approved alternate reality campaigns. The film is a flop.

    • Blame should be levelled at the producers for hiring michael’s nephew in a lead role. He was miscast because Uncle michael was a beanpole. Germaine’s son is built like a beefcake.

    • Its hard to talk about music isnt it retard
U r not winning and you ll never will.
The bio pic already surpassed epic
      Sorry ha ha ha

Prince not on the big charts

    UK dvd music charts
    MOONWALKER NUMBER ONE
MIchael Jackson LIVE at Wembly NUMBER TWO
    This is it number FOUR
Michael Jackson The life of an icon number 48

  4. The Epic soundtrack has returned to the number one spot three times since its release. Elvis pushes Prince from the number one spot to the still impressive number two spot, “Purple Rain.”

Sony is collecting everything it can from the universally panned “michael” biopic as they own all the rights to his name , image and music. Daughter Paris was a no show on the Hollywood red carpet. She seems like she does not want anymore to do with her disgraced fake daddy. He raped her little friends, and she now believes the countless allegations.

  5. “Michael” is starting strong at international box office, generating $18.5 million on opening day. Those ticket sales include $16.6 million on Wednesday and $1.9 million in Tuesday’s previews.

Lionsgate’s musical biopic about the rise of Michael Jackson debuts in North America and 82 overseas markets on Friday. Through the weekend, “Michael” is poised to dominate over global box office charts with projections of $65 million to $75 million (or more) domestically and $75 million to $80 million internationally.

So far, the poor reviews from critics aren’t slowing the King of Pop’s roll. “Michael” had the strongest start in France with $2.6 million from 743 screens on Wednesday, followed by the United Kingdom and Ireland with $2.6 million, Italy with $1.3 million from 480 locations, Mexico with $1.1 million and Spain with $1.1 million from 520 screens.

Universal, which is rolling out the film in international markets, estimates these figures are pacing ahead of the 2018 Queen-centric “Bohemian Rhapsody” and 2023’s father-of-the-atomic-bomb drama “Oppenheimer” in most territories; those films are two of the highest-grossing biopics in the past decade.

Stateside, Imax and premium-format fan screenings were held Wednesday night starting at 6 p.m. That money will be rolled into Thursday’s previews, which began at noon. Some box office sources told Deadline that presales for Michael were exceeding Project Hail Mary‘s; that Ryan Gosling movie scored $12M from both early previews and first Thursday showtimes.

Heading into the weekend, it was forecast that Michael would open to $150M worldwide, $65M-$70M of that coming from domestic, which would represent a record for a musical biopic ahead of 2015’s Straight Outta Compton ($60.2M).

  6. Michael’ is now the highest-rated musical biopic of all-time by audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Despite opening to 27% by critics, the film scored an impressive 96% from casual audiences, surpassing ‘Elvis’, ‘Rocketman’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

  7. The crap “michael” biopic is an enormous flop-a-rama. Even diehard floons are complaining how the film suks beans. Hannibal wants us to believe that Wacko’s untalented 189 pound nephew is as skinny as his dead uncle. The biopic is terrible.

    Empty seats in theatres.

  8. “Epic: Another million seller for THE KING”

The Epic soundtrack has already sold a million copies, making Elvis earning another platinum certification to his growing tally. Of course, Meatloaf is celebrating the great achievement. No wonder the disc is still number one.

Prince is definitely not gone and forgotten either. The two music giants ate battling for the top spot on the all important sales charts. They’ve both broken records as posthumous artists.
