Gee, after telling us he would come back every Friday to document michael’s climb on the charts, Hannibal Stanley has done a no show. He disappears as soon as Elvis returns to number one for a second time with the Epic soundtrack. Anyway, that is definitely a bragging right. And it also pleases me that despite Hannibal laughing that the musical documentary was a flop, it returned to IMAX and actually grossed nearly twenty five million dollars. Even without excessive promotion, Elvis quietly does what he does by simply word of mouth box office and soundtrack sales. Who would have thought Elvis could have done this in 2026?
As for Prince, he also has some challenges ahead of him, but the good news is he avoids bad publicity, eye burning accusations and scandal. michael’s biopic is actually in danger of being cancelled because of all the controversy. The mcJackson family are even fighting as Paris and Janus say the film is just fantasies.
