Hannibal obviously likes to claim the disappointing box office was a failure, but in reality, it was basically a limited release. It is the perfect movie for streaming platforms and future DVD sales.

When told that the Paisley Park still has zero allegations of sexual battery or lawsuits, Hannibal claims it is because Prince’s tourist attraction estate does not make enough money for victims to want to sue, which is baloney. According to Hannibal, Prince beat women, and slept with various men.
If so, why aren’t they coming forward to collect for extensive damages?

For a movie to really be classified as a flop, it would have to not gross its budget. Epic grossed a very disappointing $15 million dollars, worldwide. With a budget of only 10 million dollars, Baz clearly made a five million dollar profit, even before streaming and DVD revenue.
The film had next to zero promotion, during a very cold late winter spell. Hannibal expected concert clips from 1970, and 1972 to have the same impact with modern audiences as Taylor Swift. Epic was neither a box office flop or a blockbuster. That is okay. Elvis has been dead for nearly 50 years.
Hannibal ignores all the problems the michael mcJackson estate is having with victims coming forward. They want at least $600 million dollars in damages. The Elvis and Prince estates have zero lawsuits. Gee, I wonder why that is?

For the third time, it was just my husband and I watching EPIC, the whole theater to ourselves. 🥺 very sad 😢 But when the movie started, i was immersed in the story and felt like I was back in the show, savoring the emotions of being close to Elvis.
For a while, it wasn’t me sitting there in that seat. Those were unforgettable, magical moments of joy, happiness, tenderness, and affection. But when it ended, I was ripped from my dream. After the joy came a feeling of loss, as if Elvis were leaving us again. My heart felt empty. 🥲🥲💔💔
